DREAM WORLD ADVENTURES - ZANZIBAR BOOKING FORM
The tour coordinator / Company representative (person taking responsibility on behalf of each member listed on this booking form) must please complete both pages of this booking form and return it to us signed via e-mail. The booking deposit for the tour, as stipulated in the booking conditions, must accompany this form in order for a booking to be confirmed.
GENERAL TOUR CONDITIONS
All travel components (airline tickets, transfers, accommodation & day trips) for travel by each group member (as listed on this booking form) will be booked by Dream World Adventures CC. (hereafter referred to as DWA) & issued after payment has been received by DWA as per the booking information provided. When travelling abroad a traveller will be required to obtain his/her own travel documents (passport / visas / vaccination cards & medical requirements & long form birth certificates for children under 18). Detailed information will be supplied by DWA to the client in the booking documentation provided when making a booking. DWA will not be held liable for a person travelling disregarding this notice and being refused boarding by the airline and/or entry by customs officials. For the safety of the client and the possible stress of international travel we recommend that each person in the group be cleared for travel by their doctor.
LIABILITY CONDITIONS DWA
or any of its agents will not accept any liability during the duration of the tour towards any loss or damage incurred through death or injury, health issues resulting in medical quarantine due to a pandemic or loss of personal items by each member of the group as listed in this booking form. Should any changes to the itinerary be made to the original group booking that was confirmed due to flight delays, flight cancellations or any unforeseen reason outside DWA's control, DWA or its agents will not accept any liability for any loss incurred due to the changes. It is the responsibility of each traveller to ensure that they obtain comprehensive travel insurance adequate for their needs. DWA will not refund any tour cost due to a traveller being refused boarding by the airline/(s) and/or entry by customs officials due to lack of required documentation or travel regulations not being adhered to. Travellers are to adhere strictly to all government/(s), airline/(s), airport/(s) and accommodation establishment/(s)'' regulations and protocols in place to prevent spread of the virus. By making a booking with DWA, travellers understand and accept the risk involved with travelling during this pandemic.
INFRASTRUCTURE TOURISIM TAX
Infrastructure tax imposed by the Zanzibar Revenue Board - USD 5 per person per day - Applicable to both adults and children.
MANDATORY INSURANCE FEE
The newly introduced mandatory insurance fee levied by the Government of Zanzibar on all travellers entering Zanzibar from 01st Oct '24 With reference to a travel advisory from the Minister of State, President's Office Finance Planning of Zanzibar, effective October 1st, 2024, all foreign visitors entering Zanzibar will be required to have this travel insurance (US$44 per person). TRANSPORTATION SCHEDULES
Flight timings are provided by airlines & are subject to Air Traffic Control restrictions. All means of transportation are subject to weather conditions, the need for constant maintenance, & the ability of passengers to check-in on time. There is no guarantee that flights, or transfers will depart at the times stated on any itinerary or tickets which you receive. All timings are estimates only, & we do not accept any liability for any delay, however arising, or for any schedule alterations.
TOUR CANCELLATION
Should a member of the group wish to cancel a confirmed booking made by DWA due to any unforeseen reason, the person must do so in writing to DWA. All components of the trip (air tickets, transfers, room reservations & any other additional activity booked) carry a cancellation fee and DWA will not take responsibility for refunding a person for any component of the trip for which the airline/(s), hotel/(s) or transfer & activity agent does not offer a refund. DWA will always act in the best interest of its clients and will endeavor to secure vouchers and or cash refunds to the clients where possible, but will not take liability should the supplier or tour service (airline, hotel, ground handler) not offer such refund. The best course of action will be if the person cancelling his/her tour, provide DWA a replacement member to take over the confirmed booking. Alternatively, it will be possible to postpone travel to within 1 year from the original tour date - new intended travel dates to be provided. A name or date change will carry administration fees. Different room rates & flights fares may apply and these will be for your account. Please refer to the detailed booking information provided for more information on the issuance of travel vouchers and or cash refunds. It is the responsibility of each traveller to ensure that they have comprehensive travel insurance adequate for their travel needs.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is highly recommended for any international journey to cover for those unforeseen events that can either happen before your departure, or while you are on your holiday. Cover yourself against cancellation*, medical emergencies, luggage and more! *Allow us to quote you based on your travel requirements. Your DWA consultant is not a FAIS representative, however will gladly go over the benefits of the insurance policy with you as stated in the policy wording and product quote/(s). You can then decide which policy type is most suitable to your travel needs.
I, the authorised representative (person taking responsibility on behalf of each group member listed below) hereby declare that I have read & understood all the terms & conditions as set out here & acknowledge that I have been strongly advised to purchase insurance cover against the possibility of sustaining loss or costs in respect of Medical emergency, Personal Accident, Cancellation or Curtailment, Baggage, Money and Documents, Public Liability & specifically Default (as per section 22 of the Tourism Act 72 of 1993), which would, inter alia, enable me/us to obtain alternative travelling facilities for a return journey to RSA in any case where the person(s) who, in terms of the travel agreement in questions is/are obliged to provide such facilities, should fail or should for any reason be unable to do so. If however I/the group members do not request/decline such insurance, I/we shall not hold Dream World Adventures, including any member of your staff and agents (all collectively referred to herein as Dream World Adventures) liable as for any losses or damages of whatever nature which I/we may suffer as a result
